Families: How to Register for Project A Missions

STEP 1: Read the Collaboration and Course Guide to select options for your child.

STEP 2: Explore the Project Academy (Project A) course offerings listed on the WCATY website.

STEP 3: Have an educator fill out the New Student Recommendation Form, as well as the DPI Scholarship Form, when appropriate.

STEP 4: Log into the Registration Unit and register your child for their course. WCATY will accept and enroll your child in their class. Registration works best when using the "Google Chrome" internet browser.

STEP 5: WCATY will email student username, password, and beginning of class details to the email provided in the application.

Families: How to Register for Summer Programs (ALP, STEP, YSSP, PACE, Summer GEM)

STEP 1: Look through the class options for the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP), Summer Transitional Enrichment Program (STEP), Pre-College Academic Campus Experience (PACE)Young Student Summer Program (YSSP) or Growing Early Minds (GEM)

STEP 2: Log-in to the registration unit, complete the online registration form, upload/submit the required form(s), and pay the  $30 or $60 non-refundable registration fee. The application fee may be different for certain WCATY programs.

NOTE: Starting with 2018 summer programs, there will be an additional requirement for new AND returning students. In addition to a grade report, we will also need a statement of purpose from all students. 

STEP 3: Once you've been accepted, you will receive an email with a link, prompting you to finish your registration. This step will take no more than a few minutes and is required to complete the final steps of registration. **

STEP 4: Keep an eye out for an email and mailed packet of detailed information about camp and other special events.

**If you are applying for financial aid, please make sure you choose the "pay later" option. You will receive notice about a financial aid decision after the financial aid deadline (April 10th, 2018).

Families: How to Register for Winter Growing Early Minds (GEM)

STEP 1: Look through the class options for the GEM program.

STEP 2: Log-in to the registration unit, complete the online registration form, and pay the $30.00 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration is best done using the "Google Chrome" internet browser.

STEP 3: Upload/submit the required forms based upon if you have participated in a WCATY program before, are new to WCATY. If you are a Wisconsin resident applying for financial aid, complete the specific GEM financial aid form. 

STEP 4: Check the status of your application by logging back into the registration unit. Students will be notified of their acceptance by mail. Complete and send back the forms included in the acceptance package to the WCATY office.
